Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, addressed a conference on the topic of the Constitution of Medina in Haripur, stating that the solution to every problem lies in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He said that the Constitution of Medina was the first constitution of the Earth, which outlined concrete measures for the welfare of the general public and prioritized the protection of human life, property, and public safety.
“If we want to rescue Pakistan from crises, we should prioritize peace, security, and the protection of life and property in the light of the Constitution of Medina,” he emphasized.
Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Holy Muhammad (peace be upon him) established the city-state of Medina on the principles of justice, giving equal citizenship to people of different religions and social classes through the Constitution of Medina.
He congratulated Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri for compiling a comprehensive analysis titled "The Constitution of Medina and the Concept of a Welfare State" spanning two volumes and 1400 pages. He mentioned that Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri had initially arranged the articles of the Constitution of Medina in 1999, and Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri completed this work through analytical research.
This research on the Constitution of Medina, he said, is the most comprehensive to date, and not only Pakistan but all Islamic countries can benefit from this book for the goals of development and prosperity. He said that the specialty of this book is to prove the textual basis of the articles of the Constitution of Medina from the Quran.
Prominent figures including MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Dr. Mir Asif Akbar, Allama Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadi, Sardar Muhammad Javaid, Engineer Rafee-ud-Din, Allama Javaid Qadri, Dr. Jahangir Abbasi, Kamran Sohail Advocate, Mushtaq Ali Khan Saharwardi, Raja Waqar Ahmed, Nasir Khan Jadoon, Amanullah Jadoon, Professor Muhammad Mumtaz, along with various other personalities participated in the event.
